Clarence City Council invites Quotations from suitably qualified Respondents to undertake a Consultancy for the preparation of a Clarence Housing Strategy. This Strategy will guide residential development across the municipality for the next 15 years and beyond. The Strategy will consider the present and future residents of Clarence, and where and how the municipality should accommodate growth to support our community. Full details are provided in Schedule 1 of the specimen copy of the Contract appearing in Part 4 of this Invitation. Respondents are to contact Council’s nominated contact officer named on the cover page if additional information is required to complete the Quotation Response.
Clarence has seen the fastest population growth of any Tasmanian municipality (in raw numbers), and this growth is projected to continue. The vast majority of the existing housing supply is three bedroom (or larger) separate houses. Investigation into our demographics, and current housing issues, innovation and trends, will provide insight into providing the right housing, in the right location in a timely manner.
