Carpark Sweeping and Coastal Pathway Services

The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to deliver programmed and reactive sweeping services across carparks and hardstand areas using vehicle mounted sweepers. These services will be undertaken at parks, reserves, community facilities, the coastal pathway and other locations owned or managed by the Principal.

The Principal’s objective is to maintain a clean, safe and litter free environment by ensuring the effective removal and lawful disposal of debris, pollutants, and other contaminants that may pose risks to public health, safety, or amenity.

The Contractor must supply all labour, plant, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, storage, administrative resources, travel, waste disposal and any other inputs necessary to complete the required services. All work must be undertaken safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant legislation and City policies.

The proposed contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award. The principal may, at its sole discretion, exercise extension options for an additional one (1) year period, followed by a further extension of up to twelve (12) months, allowing a maximum contract duration of five (5) years.

It is the Principal's expectation that the Contract is expected to commence in May 2026.

The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
