Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for the new Fernadell Park Community Centre

⁠⁠⁠A brand-new community centre is being built in Pitt Town as part of the Fernadell Park Redevelopment and Council is now taking Expressions of Interests from eligible organisations for the future management of the community centre.

Artist impression of the proposed community Centre at Fernadell Park Community Centre will offer a large and adaptable space that is designed to be a multipurpose and flexible to accommodate multiple user groups and community needs. The successful organisation must manage the day-to-day running of the facility, including bookings, funding, maintenance and upkeep of the building.

Construction of the sports precinct at Fernadell Park commenced in May 2025 and the construction tender to build the community centre has now closed and is under review. Construction on the community centre is anticipated to commence later this year, with completion expected to align with the completion of the entire precinct in June 2027, weather permitting.
