Murweh Shire Council (MSC) invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a schedule of rates, pricing, and supporting documentation for the Alfred Street and Wills Street Intersection Upgrade – Asphalt Works.
The works generally comprise pavement rehabilitation and asphalt surfacing works at the intersection of Alfred Street and Wills Street and adjacent road sections, as indicated in the design drawings. The scope includes profiling/milling of the existing asphalt pavement, preparation of the existing pavement surface, and the supply and placement of heavy-duty dense graded asphalt (AC14) corrector and surfacing courses.
The intersection has been inspected and engineered for these upgrades, and the works have been included in the Council’s prioritised capital works program.
