KalaMoving – A Strategic Transport Plan

The City of Kalamunda (the City) invites suitably qualified and experienced consultants to submit tenders for the provision of specialist consulting services to develop a Strategic Transport Plan (STP). The STP aims to create a unified strategy for managing growth and demand for transport within the City, promoting safer and more efficient transport infrastructure. It encompasses roads, paths, networks, associated technologies, road user behaviours, pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, share-ride services, restricted access vehicle (RAV) routes, and land uses that generate transport demand.

The City seeks competitive tenders from consultants capable of delivering high-quality analysis, integration of information, and community consultation services. The services will contribute to a holistic approach that integrates all modes of transport, land use, and social, environmental, and economic considerations, as defined in the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Guidelines for Preparation of Integrated Transport Plans and WALGA guidelines.
