Seeking a supplier to deliver BCT’s state‑wide Conservation Champions project (2026–2030), engaging schools and communities to promote biodiversity conservation.
Project goals
The purpose of this project is to work deliver the BCT’s established Conservation Champions state-wide school’s project (May 2026 – May 2030). This project will advance BCT’s Education Program objectives. Specifically, this project seeks to continue to raise awareness of biodiversity conservation and the BCT through curriculum‑aligned engagement with schools and landholders. The project involves leading the project in collaboration with the BCT within targeted regional communities through working with regional schools.
Scope
The NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) seeks a supplier to lead delivery of the Conservation Champions program (May 2026–May 2030). The program engages regional NSW schools to build awareness of biodiversity conservation and the role of private landholders. The supplier will deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons, teacher professional development, field days on BCT agreement properties, expo presentations, and high‑quality educational resources.
Annual targets include: 20 schools for deep learning programs, 2,000+ students engaged in lessons, 3,000+ students reached through expos and introductory activities, and at least seven field days statewide.
The supplier must manage coordination with schools, landholders, and regional partners, ensure WHS, child safety, and curriculum alignment, maintain program resources and website content, and meet all monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements.
