The Department of Education (DoE) is inviting tenders for the design and construction (D&C) refurbishment of Block B at Kurwongbah State School. This tender is for a principal contractor to undertake the entire scope of works.

The project scope entails a complete internal refurbishment of Block B which includes 4 GLA’s, storeroom, shared art room and 2 breakout spaces.

The appointed principal contractor will be responsible for the full scope of works including design and obtaining the relevant statutory approvals. The contractor must deliver a solution that reflects the school’s vision while meeting all applicable building codes, Australian Standards, and DoE guidelines.

Tenderers must hold the following licences and insurances, with proof to be provided upon request:

• QBCC Licence

• Professional Indemnity Insurance (to value of $1 million in accordance with the contract)

• Public Liability Insurance

• WorkCover Insurance
