Low Level Crossing & Culvert Construction - Monkey Bridge Road

SCOPE OF WORKS

The works comprise:

• Removal of existing culverts and downstream accumulated sediment.

• Construction of a 4-cell reinforced concrete box culvert (RCBC) including:

     o Two (2) high flow cells

     o Two (2) low flow cells (for fish passage)

• Construction of reinforced concrete base slab and turndown apron.

• Installation of precast crown units.

• Construction of headwalls and wing walls.

• Installation of scour protection upstream and downstream.

• Construction of approach ramps and pavement tie-ins.

• Installation of staged coZer dams and diversion arrangements.

• Full rehabilitation of disturbed areas.

The works are to be delivered in 3 phases

• Phase 1 – Western Base Slab Construction

• Phase 2 – Eastern Base Slab Construction

• Phase 3 – Crown Units and Pavement Slab
