Condition Assessment of Tamworth CBD Stormwater Outlets to Peel River

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking a suitably qualified and highly experienced consultant to undertake detailed investigation and condition assessment of the stormwater outlets from the Tamworth CBD to the Peel River. It is the intent of this work package to engage a single consultant to undertake detailed investigation and condition assessment of each stormwater outlet in the East Tamworth urban drainage catchment that passes through the Peel River CBD Levee, to determine the condition, quantify damage, assess risk and recommend repair or replacement options and an appropriate intervention timeframe.

On completion of the Contract it’s expected the deliverables will enable Council to:

• make informed decisions in relation to the remediation required and the urgency of same;

• make decisions in relation to the cost and budgeting of remediation; and

• engage a consultant under a separate contract to prepare detailed design and specification of all necessary repairs without any additional investigation required.
