Tender Description
The Alpine Shire requests tenders from suppliers for the provision of a rubber tracked excavator, with an operating weight between 5-6t. Alpine Shire Council is willing to consider offers for either used or new excavators within the nominated weight range, provided they are low hour and very good condition.
For information, Alpine Shire Council have a trailer with a maximum carrying capacity of 6.4t. We would assume a weight of 400kg for the buckets etc associated with the excavator – so in this instance we will only consider plant with an operating weight of 6.0t or lower. You are well to discuss this point with Council’s Plant and Fleet coordinator.
