Indigo Medical Consulting Practice Manager Mastery Program – a SAVI initiative for GPs and Allied Health

The Practice Manager Mastery Program – SAVI Edition is an online six month training course, designed specifically for general practice and allied health practice managers, those responsible for management duties, and emerging practice managers or senior administration staff looking to upskill.

The program is tailored to the Sustainability and Viability Initiative (SAVI) and reflects the needs identified in the 2026 General Practice Business Viability Insights Report.

The PHN is offering training grants to eligible practices to participate in the program co-funded by the PHN. Grants are valued at $2,200.00 and the program is available to practices for a contribution of only $400.00.

General practices and allied health practices that have participated in SAVI during 2025-26 are eligible to participate in this unique opportunity.

The program is facilitated by Bernadette Beach, CEO of Indigo Medical Consulting Services, a specialist in healthcare leadership, workforce development and operational transformation.

Program overview

The program is designed to provide practices with practical, hands-on experience and implementation-based development that enhances both leadership and operational performance across participating practices. It bridges the gap between strategy and execution, enabling participants to lead their practices with confidence, clarity, and measurable outcomes.

The training course will upskill Practice Managers to:

• Lead with strategic clarity and measurable direction
• Strengthen financial literacy, compliance, and business planning
• Build effective, high-performing teams; and
• Improve patient and staff wellbeing outcomes

The program extends for six months, commencing on Monday 13 April 2026 until 27 October 2026. Live sessions will take place on Thursdays at 10.00am.

SAVI-participating general practices and allied health practices are invited to apply through and Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in this program. Practices should refer to the Training Grant Guidelines before submitting an application.
