Project goals

The Zero Emission Buses (ZEB) Program is a major NSW Government initiative supporting the State’s commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. The program will be delivered in multiple tranches, with Tranche 1 targeting the delivery of 1,219 zero emission buses across metropolitan Sydney and the establishment of 11 depots capable of supporting electric charging operations. The program is currently mid-delivery and requires additional specialist resources to ensure timely, safe, and compliant delivery of works.

Scope

• Supporting the ZEB Program team with project management, contract administration, commercial management, scheduling, and technical oversight.
• Improving delivery performance across workstreams including depot electrical upgrades, charging infrastructure installation, fleet transition activities, and associated enabling works.
• Supporting the fleet management team in the procurement and integration of the new ZEB fleet.
• Ensuring consistent, high quality project governance, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication across the program.
• Supporting and uplifting delivery partners to ensure compliance with program requirements, standards, and timelines.
• Delivering projects under both Operator-led and government-led delivery models.
