The City of Gold Coast is commencing early market sounding for Stage 2 of Greenheart - a 257.5-hectare, multi-precinct open space and recreation program to be delivered in stages over the next 10-15 years.
The delivery of the next phase (Stage 2) is anticipated to be completed prior to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (indicative Stage 2 budget $250M).
Greenheart is one of the City’s most significant long-term civic and environmental investments and one of the largest open space and recreation programs being delivered in Australia.
The City is seeking structured, asset-specific input from contractors, specialist trades and suppliers across:
• Enabling and Early Works
• Civil Infrastructure (including Roads and Bridges)
• Environmental & Wetlands Works
• Landscape, Sports Fields & Recreation Infrastructure
• Event-Capable Public Realm & Civic Spaces
• Program Integration / Multi-Precinct Coordination
• Specialist Suppliers
This is not a procurement process. It is an opportunity to inform staging, packaging and delivery strategy.
