ServiceNow Data Model and Table Structure Review

A vendor is sought to conduct a review of NSW Resources' ServiceNow and related data architecture to make recommendations about future development and enhancements to improve efficiency and useability

Project goals

Mapping of the current state of NSW Resources’ data structures and recommendations for enhancement or redesign of the data architecture to support development of a modern, efficient and scalable data approach.

Scope

The vendor will undertake a review of NSW Resources ServiceNow instance data tables and data structure. The vendor will:

• Undertake discovery to document the current state of database tables to demonstrate relationships.
• Review the Task, Location, Contact (TLC) data model and confirm suitability.
• Design a new table structure that addresses any issues identified in the review.

Any proposed new structure:

• must accommodate core tables, with core tables being usable across multiple business units, integrations with other legacy systems, and departmental applications.
• must leverage the latest version of ServiceNow.
• Document any changes required to the database tables and relationships to move to a future state.
• Provide recommendations on the ServiceNow licensing model.
• Recommendations and outputs should focus on query efficiency and consistent module/task behaviour.

Participation in this opportunity is limited to Advanced Prequalified suppliers on the ICT Service Scheme (SCM0020), compliant to Category A02 - Information Architecture.
