Tender Description
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced service provider for the provision of Secure Offsite Storage for DFAT Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment.
The scope of the Commonwealth’s requirement is that DFAT requires secure offsite storage that is:
- within 30 minutes delivery time to DFAT buildings in Barton, ACT;
- in a secure location;
- physically secured (lockable) and monitored;
- has controlled access;
- is clean and fire protected; and
- provides a logistics management area.
DFAT's ICT equipment is to be stored in a cost-effective, secure manner, which ensures that the equipment is not damaged. Items stored are to be easily identified and located by DFAT and Contractor personal.
DFAT may during the term of the agreement increase or reduce its storage requirements for ICT equipment. The Contractor will be required to provide additional storage space as required by DFAT.
A transition period of one month is included in the requirements to transition from the current service provide to the successful tenderer.

Tender responses must meet the Mandatory Conditions of Participation and Minimum Content and Format Requirements specified in the RFT.
Tender responses should address all of the Technical Evaluation Criteria and all of the Unweighted Assessment Criteria.
The Department proposes that any Contract arising from this RFT will have an initial term of 5 (five) years, with 5 (five) options to extend for a further term of up to 12 months each, exercisable in any combination at the discretion of the Department.
Tenderers are to provide pricing in response to the baseline volumes provided in the pricing tables, the actual costs will be dependent on actual volumes over the contract term.
