Tender Description
We wish to engage a construction supplier to carry out works for the West Coast District Office (2 High Street, adjacent to the Greymouth Fire Station) to provide a fit for purpose facility for the West Coast District Management team and co-locate with Civil Defence.
The successful supplier will liaise with our Project Manager to ensure a mutually agreeable project plan is formulated and maintained, enabling the project to flow seamlessly.
The plans, specifications and reports that form part of this RFP provide the detail on what’s required. Below is an overview of the scope of works that’s to be included:
- Demolition of first floor and adjoining carport
- Structural Strengthening
- Internal remodeling to accommodate a fit for purpose office space
- Potential Asbestos removal
- Fire Alarm Upgrade
- Accessibility
- Electrical, Lighting and Data Upgrade
- Mechanical and Heating
- Floor Coverings
• Coordinating workflow with Fire and Emergency appointed roofing and drainage contractors
