Myers Reserve Masterplan

The City of Greater Geelong (the City) invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Lead Consultants (Lead Consultant) for the provision of design services for the Myers Reserve Master Plan Implementation Project.

The successful tenderer will be the Lead Consultant and be responsible for the cost and management of all sub-consultants which make up the Design Team.

Currently, the project is approved to proceed with the design stage only. This will allow for improved definition of cost expectations and include breaking down each key infrastructure component into a suitable construction staging plan in line with funding.

Project scope as outlined within the Myers Reserve Masterplan includes:

• Relocate site entry to Bluestone Bridge Rd to improve safety. Realign and improve internal road access and parking provisions for all activities within the site. Scope to include lighting and new sealed car park loop and shared pathways in line with proposed changes to overall site. Full Design including allowance for staged delivery approach.
• Two new synthetic bowls greens including parking and storage. Full Design including allowance for staged deliver approach
• Demolition of all existing bowls clubs facilities, greens and associated elements.
• New bowls club pavilion. Concept Design only suitable for future Design and Construct
• Two new netball courts plus warm up area. Full Design
• Demolition of existing netball courts and associated infrastructure.
• Upgrade existing Cricket, Football and Netball Pavilion to be fit for purpose, gender neutral and code compliant. Concept Design only, with option of full design documentation
• Incorporation of power upgrade, substation and infrastructure upgrades into overall design. Please note this process has commenced with Powercor and we are expecting a design that will likely include a new pole type substation to the south of the new netball courts in an area near the car park and tree line. It is also anticipated current overhead HV crossing the existing bowls facility will be removed and new underground services installed in this area from the new pole substation. Extent of power upgrade being sought is 700 Amps per phase, three phase.
• Civil design of entire site including earthworks, drainage and stormwater and all required service requirements and upgrades. Full Design
• General landscaping of entire site in line with Masterplan. Concept design only including allowance for staged delivery approach

This request for proposal closes at 2:00pm, 26 March 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Responses:

All submissions are to be provided online as an electronic response through this portal. All questions within the schedule must be responded to. Respondents must answer all questions in each section and provide supporting documentation where required.

Respondents must not upload a single proposal in one question and answer remaining questions with ‘please see answer in uploaded proposal’.

It is imperative that respondents are aware of the format and content of the schedule when collating their submission and follow this format when submitting.

Instructions are available at the beginning of the eProcure Response Schedule and failure to respond in this format may result in the submission not being evaluated.
