Manuka Crescent Playground Renewal 2026

The Contract Works are for the renewal of a playground at Manuka Crescent Reserve, 29B Manuka Cres, Hillcrest, Rotorua 3015 which are to be completed by Tuesday the 30th of June 2026. (Subject to arrival of Play Equipment from overseas).

The works comprise of the install of a new playground, furniture and landscaping.

The preference is for site to be closed for a maximum allowance of 45 calendar days. Council must be notified 2 weeks prior to works commencing so the public can also be notified.

The Contractor is responsible for all works detailed in the technical specification.

Landscape works included in this construction are for the supply of all: plants, labor, materials, quality assurance, as-built drawings and incidentals necessary for:

a. Supply and installation of landscape features in the playground, including edging, planting, paths, bike track, concrete pads, logs, drainage, play equipment (install only), outdoor furniture (install only). The wet-pour rubber safety surface will be installed by a third party. If in doubt, the construction drawing will prevail.

b. Liaising with playground companies, regarding the timing of the delivery of selected playground equipment

c. Prepare and plant various garden beds

d. Re-seed grassed areas affected by the construction works.

Tenderers are advised that the principal, reserves the right to vary the scale of the works to fit within the constraints of the available funding for this project.

Attending the planned site visit is recommended for tendering for this contract.
