ABOUT QUEENSLAND RAIL

Queensland Rail is an integrated passenger and rail infrastructure business that provides commuter, long distance and tourist passenger rail services across the State of Queensland, Australia. The rail network is bounded to the north by Cairns, to the south by Brisbane and to the west by Longreach, Charleville and Mount Isa servicing the passenger, tourism, resources and freight customer markets. The business operates 24x7 for 365 days of the year.

Queensland Rail plays an important role in providing commuter services to the people of Southeast Queensland as well as connecting regional Queensland.

OVERVIEW OF THE OPPORTUNITY

Queensland Rail is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Supplier or Systems Integrator (SI) to support the implementation of its SAP S/4HANA ERP Program. The objective of this procurement is to identify a partner with demonstrated capability, capacity and experience to deliver the implementation of SAP S/4HANA that aligns with Queensland Rail’s strategic, operational and governance requirements.

Queensland Rail’s existing SAP ERP platform will reach the end of standard support in 2027. This milestone provides a strategic opportunity for Queensland Rail and the selected Supplier to jointly plan and deliver implementation of SAP S/4 HANA as an SI.

Queensland Rail is undertaking a significant uplift of its ERP environment to establish a secure, scalable and cloud-aligned technology foundation. The implementation of SAP S/4HANA will strengthen governance and compliance, improve data quality and analytical insights, and enhance customer and partner experience.

METHOD OF SUBMISSION

Tenderers are required to submit their responses via Ariba Sourcing. Hardcopy, emailed responses or submissions via VendorPanel will not be accepted.

Late tender responses will not be accepted. Tenderers must ensure that they allow sufficient time to upload their tender response before the tender closing date and time. Queensland Rail will not extend the tender closing date and time.
