Northern Water Project - Independent Certifier

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is pleased to issue this Registration of Interest (ROI) to commence the procurement process for selecting a suitably experienced Independent Certifier (IC), for the Northern Water Project (the Project).

The IC Procurement is undertaken as a separate process, conducted in parallel to the Design, Build, Operate and Maintain (DBOM) procurement for the Project.

The scope of work to be delivered by the IC includes but is not limited to independent design verification, independent construction verification and independent certification.

The purpose of this ROI is to seek registration from suitably experienced companies (Registrants) to participate in the subsequent stages of the competitive procurement process. It is noted that the ROI is not a competitive process.

This ROI provides a high-level overview of the Project, the role of the IC, procurement timeframes, tendering requirements and the required response schedules.

Registrants from the ROI Phase, verified as eligible to progress to the subsequent stages of the IC Procurement, will be invited to participate in the EOI Phase via a secure Virtual Data Room (VDR) hosted on Ansarada.
