ABOUT THE CITY OF COFFS HARBOUR (City):

Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 85,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.

ABOUT THIS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI):

The City of Coffs Harbour seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to assist the City and the wider Project Team in the design, fabrication and installation of a public artwork in Coffs Harbour. This EOI is released under City contract CON00762 reVITALise Public Art Design, Fabricate and Install. A further procurement process will be undertaken using contractors shortlisted from this EOI process, where the City anticipates an award will be made to a single contractor.

SITE VISIT

A site visit will not form part of this EOI process.

REGISTRATION:

EOI documents may be obtained after registration , which is free of charge.

ENQUIRIES:

Proponents must direct any enquiries to Mr Andrew Gray via the online forum prior to 10am AEDST on Monday 9 March 2026.

SUBMISSIONS:

Completed EOI responses are to be submitted via the electronic tender box only, using the editable MS Word document supplied in the EOI document package.

Proponents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon the completion of their submission upload. 

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

This EOI will close at 10.00am AEDST on Thursday 12 March 2026, and EOI submissions must be fully uploaded to the tendering portal by this time as the cut off time is exactly 10.00am AEDST.

The City is not bound to accept any EOI or any part of an EOI, and reserves the right to conduct the EOI process and select the successful proponent or proponents as it sees most advantageous.

The City staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the EOI. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed EOI submissions will not be accepted. Canvassing of Councillors and members of City staff other than the contact detailed above by any proponent may render their EOI submission ineligible for evaluation
