Project goals

Provision of Fit‑for‑Purpose Accommodation Assets - Supply caravans that meet all safety and compliance standards, including accessible units, pet‑friendly options, and configurations suitable for individuals, couples, and families.

End‑to‑End Asset Deployment and Management - Deliver, install, service, and collect caravans, ensuring correct on‑site placement, safe installation, and readiness for immediate use.

Support for Co‑Contribution/Subsidy Models - Implement and manage applicable financial contribution or subsidy arrangements as required by the program.

Accurate Administration and Reporting - Maintain comprehensive records, reporting processes, invoicing accuracy, and timely communication.

Collaboration with RA on Grantee Transitions - Work with RA to support resident transition planning and develop effective exit pathways from the program.

Establish a Multi‑Supplier Panel - a supplier panel capable of delivering the At‑Home Caravan Program for future disaster events, ensuring value for money, diverse supply capability, and operational flexibility to scale services as demand varies.

Scope

The supplier must ensure access to a diverse range of caravan types to meet varying Grantee needs including (but not limited to) accessibility units (including wheelchair and mobility accessible caravans), pet-friendly options and both single and family-sized configurations. Assets must comply with safety and regulatory standards and be suitable for deployment across different environments and regions within NSW, with flexibility to match households and various site conditions (post disaster) based on assessed requirements.

The supplier is responsible for coordinating procurement, delivery and allocation of appropriate assets based on eligibility, site conditions and assessed support requirements.
