Main Building Contractor for Block A Refurbishment at Ngaere School, Taranaki

⁠⁠⁠The contract works include includes the removal of existing wall and ceiling linings within the corridor, followed by the installation of new GIB linings and Autex Composition wall coverings. In addition, new carpet tiles will be installed in the staffroom, and the staffroom interior will be fully repainted.

Suppliers are required to describe how their proposed approach will deliver economic benefits to New Zealand, including (but not limited to): Use of local labour for the delivery of the bathroom modification works. Engagement of New Zealand–based subcontractors and trades, including small and medium enterprises where appropriate. Supporting regional employment by sourcing workers from the local area where possible. Use of locally supplied materials where suitable and feasible. Suppliers should provide clear, practical examples of how they will demonstrate these benefits during contract delivery.

All work to comply with manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations.

Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed.
