Southern Waste Solutions - B Cell Capping Works

Southern Waste Solutions is seeking suitably qualified civil/earthworks contractors to undertake capping works for B Cell at Copping Landfill (Tasmania). The works include construction of the landfill cap in accordance with the issued design documentation, including supply and placement of specified materials, earthworks/trim to design levels, drainage and surface water management measures, QA/verification testing, as-built deliverables, and all temporary works, safety and environmental controls required to complete the package.

Tenderers will be issued the design specification, design drawings and BOQ, with an amended AS4000 contract included as an appendix.

Tenderers are also required to submit a Schedule of Rates for pricing variations and dayworks items outside the BOQ. Contract award is anticipated in mid March 2026, with a proposed site commencement no later than early April 2026 (dates subject to confirmation at award).

A site visit will be conducted at 1pm, Thursday 19th Feb. Contractors are to bring Steel toe boots and hi-viz clothing.
