Werribee Outdoor Pool - Heat Pumps & Electrification Upgrade

Wyndham City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and duly experienced supplier of goods and electrical services to provide the conversion from gas to electrification of the Werribee Outdoor Pool (WOP) heating systems and additionally complete some minor demolition and capping of redundant services. The WOP is located at Chirnside Park, 220 Watton Street, Werribee VIC 3030.

The Supplier must be VICTORIAN based and/or has a VICTORIAN presence that is both administrative (project managers) and labour (skilled and qualified A-Grade licensed electrical technicians, gas/electrical plumbers).

The scope of works includes:

•  Replacement of the current natural gas boilers with electric heat pumps in the 1 x 50m - 8 lane pool
•  Design and installation of the heat pumps such that the boilers remain operational until the heat pumps are functional
•  Completion of some minor demolition and capping of redundant services.

The successful Contractor will be required to deliver the project in accordance with the approved designs, specifications, and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. The successful supplier (contractor) must work with and alongside any existing Western Leisure Services (WLS) appointed maintenance contractors at the WOP site.
