Tender Description
The Electoral Commission wishes to engage a suitably experienced and capable supplier to provide high-quality translation services for public information about enrolling and voting from English into 29 languages (excluding te reo Māori and New Zealand Sign Language).
During election events, such as a general election, by-elections, or a referendum, our translation requirements scale up significantly to deliver a high volume of translation work to support delivery of information to Pacific and culturally and linguistically diverse communities across New Zealand to support their engagement and participation in the electoral system.
The Commission is particularly interested in suppliers that can provide desktop publishing services, include community reviews as part of the translation process, and who can maintain political neutrality to ensure trust and confidence in the electoral system.
