Regional Aquatic Centre - CCTV System Repairs and Upgrade

2.1 Introduction

The existing CCTV system at the Regional Aquatic Centre is outdated, compromising security and operational efficiency. The proposed upgrade addresses critical shortcomings of the current CCTV cameras, aligns with current BHCC CCTV and Royal Life Saving NSW's Guideline for Safe Pool Operations policies for compliance and allows for futureproofing of the CCTV solution at the Regional Aquatic Centre.

CCTV cameras and solutions provided in this quote must adhere to Australian NDAA-compliant standards.

2.2 Scope of Work

The following specifications must be met:

• Upgrade of communications cabinet from 22RU to 45RU.

• Installation of a central UPS for all rack mounted equipment.

• Deployment of new network video recording (NVR) devices, with sufficient internal storage to retain thirty (30) days for continuous recordings at 1280x960 at 15fps in H.264 video format.

• Deployment of new network switches to support new equipment.

• Replacement of existing CCTV cameras, fifteen in total, with a minimum of 5MP IP CCTV cameras.

• Install new CCTV cameras, or relocate currently install CCTV cameras were possible, to provide coverage of the following water areas as per the Royal Life Saving NSW's Guideline for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO):

   o Hydro South end

   o Hydro North end

   o 25m South end

   o 25m North end

   o Toddler splash pool

   o 50m South end

   o 50m North end

   o Slide entry pool (not currently covered)

• Installation of NDAA-compliant CCTV equipment as per BHCC CCTV policy.

• Installation of IP CCTV workstations in the manager’s office and kiosk counter.

• Deployment of two 43" monitors in the manager’s office and two 32" monitors at the kiosk counter for live monitoring of cameras.

• Review the current live monitoring installation in aid/lifeguard room for compatibility with planned install solution and replace if needed.

• Supply, installation and testing of equipment.

• Training in the use of the solution.
