Powerhouse seeks qualified supplier/s to provide specialist editorial services to ensure accurate, consistent and high-quality exhibition labels and interpretation panels for the exhibition program.

Project goals

Powerhouse seeks to engage a suitably qualified supplier to provide editorial and proofreading services to ensure the accuracy, consistency and quality of exhibition labels and interpretation panels for the Powerhouse exhibition program.

The objective is to deliver high-quality, clear and well-edited interpretive content that aligns with Powerhouse editorial standards, style guide and design requirements.

Scope

The scope of services includes:

• Editing the exhibition labels/panels for two of the major opening exhibitions for Powerhouse
• Parramatta:

Scope 1: Task Eternal – approximately 15,000‒20,000 words, representing about 800-1,000 objects, distributed across approximately 150-200 labels/panels.

Scope 2: The Mall – approximately 35,000‒40,000 words, representing about 1,000 objects, distributed across approximately 150-200 labels/panels.

• Copyediting for consistency in tone, grammar, style, and adherence to Powerhouse style guide guidelines. Liaising with curators to implementing text corrections. Proofreading of final designed label layouts prior to production/publication to ensure accuracy in spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
