Legacy Mines Program System Design

A vendor is sought to validate high-level requirements and develop detailed business requirements for the new Legacy Mines Program system.

Project goals

The vendor will design a ServiceNow solution to:

• Consolidate currently disparate LMP databases into a centralised, secure, and scalable environment
• Standardise and align workflows, improving consistency, transparency, and reducing operational risk
• Enhance cross-team collaboration by enabling seamless information sharing between compliance, engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams
• Improve the traceability, integrity, and auditability of scientific data, inspections, and safety assessments
• Reduce reliance on third-party vendors, providing greater control over system configuration, data management, and future enhancements
• Support alignment with NSW Government digital and regulatory expectations through improved data governance and integrated service delivery
• Increase long-term operational efficiency through streamlined processes, reduced manual effort, and lower administrative overhead

Scope

The vendor will review the high-level requirements and validate them. They will then prepare detailed requirements and a high-level design for the new system. Following this, detailed design and backlog development will be completed.
