SH1 Katiki Beach Rock Armouring - PW

This is a Physical Works Contract for the construction of rock armouring to improve the erosion resilience of the land adjacent to SH1 at Katiki Beach. This Contract is for armouring work at 4 identified sites along the 6.5 km long beach and involves the supply and placement of rock armouring and associated works at beach level.

The Contract Works comprise of:

• Supply, delivery, stockpiling and placement of rock armour over 450m of Katiki Beach at up to 4 locations,

• Traffic management on SH1,

• Protection of environmental sites.

Only tenderers prequalified to Construction – Level C (4C) under the terms of NZTA’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.
