Mt Lofty Residential Aged Care– Principal Contractor – Main Switchboard Upgrade Project

The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service is undertaking the upgrade of the main switchboard at the Mt Lofty Residential Aged Care Facility in Toowoomba, Queensland.

The purpose of this Request for Tender is to obtain fixed lump sum pricing to deliver all works set out in the project documentation. The scope of the Project includes but is not limited to:

•  Replacement of existing Main switchboard to allow the switchboard to be worked on safely.
•  Reconfigure existing electrical infrastructure to accept new generator to provide 100% emergency power coverage for the Mt Lofty campus.
•  The reconfiguration includes the replacement of an ageing end of life main switchboard and a new changeover switchboard that will facilitate current and future upgrades.
•  Replacement of existing generator to an adequately sized generator to facilitate 100% emergency power coverage to the current facility including future expansion.
•  A new outbuilding is to be constructed to house the new main switchboard and generator.

All other requirements set out in the Contractor Scope of Works and design documents provided with the tender.

Attending the pre-tender meeting is mandatory and will be facilitated by the Principal’s Project Manager. Tenderers are to advise who will be attending through the Queensland Procurement Solution site by close of business Tuesday 17th February 2026
