Replacement of HVAC Chiller Pipework - Nowra Administration Building

Shoalhaven City Council (Council) invites tenders to carry out work at the Nowra Administration Building at 36 Bridge Road Nowra for the renewal of degraded steel pipework and insulation on seven Fan Coil Units (FCUs) in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT).

The Mechanical Services Cooling System uses chilled water and Fan Coil Units (FCUs) as part of the HVAC system at the Nowra Administration Building. Previous works have replaced the pipework at five (5) of the twelve (12) FCUs used at the site. The pipework to the remaining seven (7) FCUs is in original condition and requires renewal.

The scope of work as described in the contract documents includes all activities necessary to complete the following:

• Renewal of degraded steel pipework and insulation on the remaining seven (7) FCUs that have not already been upgraded as part of previous works include:

o FCU-2

o FCU-3

o FCU-6

o FCU-7

o FCU-8

o FCU-9

o FCU-10

• Maintain building operations by staggering these works around weekend outages

• Standardise labelling and documentation for ongoing maintenance

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this request for tender.

This tender will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993, the Local Government (General) Regulations 2021 and the Division of Local Government Tendering Guidelines.
