Management & Operation - Glenden Swimming Pool

The Isaac Regional Council was formed in March 2008 following the amalgamation of the former Shires of Belyando, Broadsound and Nebo. The Isaac Region local government area has a resident population of 22,046 (2021) with an additional 11,085 resource sector workers and covers an area of approximately 58,000 square kilometres.

There are eight (8) council operated swimming pools located throughout the region.

Tender submissions are invited for the management and operation of the Glenden Swimming Pool and facilities under a lease arrangement.

Tender closes 2pm 10 March 2026.

Tenderers are to attend a Mandatory site meeting - refer to documents for further information.

Council’s key priorities include cost effectiveness, sustainability, a strong customer focus, promotion of the sport of swimming, safety, compliance and the highest levels of infrastructure and amenity management.

Council requires the placement of a new Lessee to open the swimming season on or about 1 September 2026
