Tamworth Marsupial Park - Playground Repairs

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking quotations for the replacement of a small timber platform (approximately 2050 mm × 2350 mm) within the playground at the Marsupial Park. The existing platform has deteriorated due to timber sitting directly on concrete footings and now requires full reconstruction.

The works involve removing the existing structure, salvaging any reusable timber boards, supplying and installing a new galvanised steel subframe on new footings, installing new timber decking to match existing (approx. 150 × 50 mm boards), and securely refixing the existing bridge to the new platform. Contractors must protect the existing soft fall surface and manage limited site access during construction. All works must comply with relevant Australian Standards and playground safety requirements.
