Harrison Street Roundabout Rehabilitation 2025–26 Ashburton District

Tenders are invited for the rehabilitation of the Harrison Street Roundabout.

Work includes survey and design, surface and pavement milling, asphalt works, road marking, other miscellaneous works.

The Contractor shall undertake milling of the existing road. Areas of weak pavement within the site will be deep lifted with 100mm of AC20 asphalt. Construction shall achieve finished levels generally consistent with the existing surface, while ensuring the final pavement shape prevents the ponding of surface water. The area will be surfaced with 55mm of AC14 asphalt. The level of the service covers will need to be changed to be flush with the final surface.

Tenderers must have the necessary resources available to complete this project prior to the 24th of April 2026 within a 10-working day window that is nominated by the contractor.
