This procurement provides the renewal and expansion of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR licences across the DCITHS portfolio to strengthen cyber threat detection and response capabilities.

Project goals

The project seeks to support the ongoing delivery of the Digital Restart Fund (DRF) Cyber Security Uplift Program by maintaining MDR coverage for the current institutions and the ability to onboard more agencies as required. The initiative includes a 3-year licence renewal and professional services to ensure seamless onboarding and integration.

1.MDR Licensing, Support and Implementation

The Portfolio has completed a major cyber uplift program over the last three years, which delivered core security operations centre capabilities for its agencies. Currently three agencies have Crowdstrike Falcon licensing together with Falcon Complete. The intention is to expand this capability to further agencies and provide the service for 3 further years.  

The supplier's activities are to facilitate the provision of Crowdstrike Falcon licenses and Security Operations Centre as a service (SOCaaS) support for CrowdStrike’s MDR service to identify and limit the impact of cyber security threats. The core objectives of the supplier's activities are detailed in the document titled 'Tender Statement of Requirements MDR 2026_FINAL
