Tender Description
Sunshine Coast Council (Council) requires a Principal Contractor to design and construct a two bedroom managers residence and a holiday park reception with back of house offices and kitchenette.
These structures will replace the current combined facility at the entry of the park.
Design Works will include, but not be limited to:
• Preliminary Design;
• Detailed Design;
• Council Review meetings;
• All approvals, and permits;
Construction Works will include, but not be limited to:
• Prepare site for construction works.
• Installation of footing and service installations
• Concrete Slab/s.
• New Blockwork & Roofing.
• Civil & Structural works.
• Electrical & Hydraulic works.
• Painting and Waterproofing.
• Landscape and full remediation of any damage to site.
Reception Building
Council requires blockwork construction for compliance and durability.
Managers Residence
Councils preferred delivery solution for the Managers Residence is a modular building.
In addition to a conforming tender, Respondents are invited to submit Alternate Tender options for Councils consideration to assist Council in assessing value for money, potential cost savings and innovation.
Alternate options may include slab on ground or blockwork construction provided they achieve equivalent functional, performance and compliance outcomes.
Submission of Alternate Tender Options is voluntary and does not indicate any obligation on the part of Council to accept an alternate solution. Alternate tenders will be considered if they meet all mandatory requirements and demonstrate clear benefits in cost, quality and risk mitigation.
