Tender Description
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport invites companies to provide a response to the Request for Tender for the Supply and Installation of Navigation Beacons at various locations around South Australia, Contract No. 25C194.
The existing navigation beacons in the scope of works have reached the end of their design life. Some of the navigation channels also need to be realigned to improve marine safety for vessels that traverse through the area. A portion of the existing beacons will be removed and replaced while the other existing beacons will be modified. The existing beacons are timber and are not located in their optimum position in terms of navigation safety. Some of the existing beacons are unlit and will be replaced with lit beacons, therefore improving safety for night navigation.
