CQUniversity (CQU) is seeking to procure a new Carbon and Nitrogen (CN) elemental analyser to replace an existing LECO TruMac CN analyser that is no longer operational.
The objective of this tender is to appoint a suitably qualified supplier to supply, deliver, install, commission and provide training for a new CN analyser to support ongoing research activities within the Research Division. The instrument will be used primarily for the analysis of carbon and nitrogen in solid samples, including plant material, livestock feed, and soil.
Given the critical nature of this analytical capability and current equipment downtime, CQU requires that the selected solution be delivered and installed within the 2026 calendar year, with earlier delivery strongly preferred. The tender also seeks to ensure long-term reliability, ease of operation, availability of local technical support, and the potential for future analytical capability expansion.
