The modernisation of WorkCover Queensland’s data platform will enable secure, governed access to trusted insights and driving data-informed decisions, increased operational efficiency, and digital innovation across the organisation. It is also a critical enabler to deliver the 2030 Strategic Roadmap and support the organisation into the future.

The objective of the MDP is to design and procure a scalable, secure, platform that supports efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing enabling a single source of truth, self-service and data democratisation.

The intent of the MDP Project is to:

a) Establish infrastructure and core services to support end-to-end data lifecycle

b) Enable Data Office-led delivery of data products and business solutions

c) Provide appropriate security, governance, and support models to ensure sustainable long-term BAU operations

d) Transition the platform into BAU with operational readiness and service management in place
