School Safety Signs - Digital Sign Supply and Install

This contract covers the supply and install of 45 School Electronic Variable Speed Limit signs. These signs must comply with the NZTA requirements (RS6V in the Traffic Control Devices Manual).

These signs must also meet the following conditions:

• Compliance with the NTZA - ITS SPEC AWRS 202402

• IP 56 Protection Rating

Where existing signs are being replaced, existing signs shall be transported to storage at the Council’s yard located at 141 Marsh Road, Rangiora.

Tenderers may be:

a) Signage suppliers, providing a proposal to install their product with an installation sub-contractor, or:

b) Contractors, providing a proposal to install compliant signage.

c) A combined (joint venture) between an installer and a supplier in a contractor / subcontractor arrangement.
