UHCC Sealing Katherine Mansfield Drive

Upper Hutt City Council seeks a capable contractor to seal 800m of unsealed road on Katherine Mansfield Drive, including drainage upgrades, culvert extensions, vehicle entrance construction, and relocation of an 11 kV power cable. The works will resolve dust, potholes, and safety issues impacting local residents and deliver a durable, cost‑effective road surface.

This is a straightforward physical works package suited to an experienced contractor with strong delivery performance and excellent community engagement skills. All works must be completed by the end of April 2026.

Contractors must demonstrate sufficient resources, proven experience in rural road sealing, strong H&S credentials, and a Contract Manager with 10+ years relevant experience. Evaluation will use a weighted attribute model with price and non‑price components assessed separately.
