Tender Description
As a requirement of the First Point of Entry development a new Maritime Security Zone will be established at the Port of Broome. As a part of this process KPA is proposing to construct a new the security gatehouse to align with the new MSZ extents.
The new gatehouse building will be constructed off site and transported to site to be installed once the civil works and have been completed in June 2026.
KPA is looking for a suitably qualified building contractor to fabricate, transport and install this purpose-built building to meet the requirements of the design drawings and specifications.
Online Briefing
An online briefing session will be held on 6 February 2026 11:00 AM.
The Principal will hold a mandatory online general information and pre-proposal “briefing/clarification session” for Respondents on the 06 of February 2026 (11:00am).
The meeting is an opportunity for Respondents to seek clarity regarding any aspect of the RFP.
Interested parties are required to contact KPA Project Manager Peter Collins (peter.collins@kimberleyports.wa.gov.au) one week prior to the meeting to register for the briefing session.
Non-attendance at the mandatory briefing session will result in the non-attending party’s Proposal (as defined in section 7(a)) being rejected.
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
