Tender Description

Meridian is looking to contract one or more suppliers for supply of electrical, engineering and general consumables

Brief requirements:

Supply a comprehensive range of consumable products required for Meridian Energy's operational needs.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Electrical Consumables: Items such as cables, connectors, fuses, and other electrical components essential for maintenance and operations.
  • Engineering Consumables: Fasteners, bearings, seals, lubricants, and other engineering-related materials required for equipment upkeep and repairs.
  • Workshop Consumables: General workshop items including cleaning materials, adhesives, tapes, and other tools or supplies necessary for day-to-day site activities.
  • Suppliers must guarantee stock availability and DIFOT (delivery in full on time) to each Meridian site minimum (95% within 3 days).
  • Quarterly Insights Reporting: Detailed reporting on purchasing trends, cost analysis, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Dedicated Online Catalogue: A Meridian-specific catalogue for streamlined ordering, with clear product categorisation and real-time stock visibility as well as order status and tracking reporting.
  • Close-Touch Account Management: Proactive engagement and support, including regular reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we don't want/ What is out of scope:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform is explicitly excluded from this RFP. Meridian Energy manages PPE and uniform through separate supply arrangements, it will not form part of the general consumables scope outlined in this document.
