Murupara Wastewater Project - Desktop Feasibility Assessment for Land Application

Whakatāne District Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced engineering and environmental consultants to undertake a land irrigation feasibility assessment as part of the Murupara Wastewater Project.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile wastewater project that sits at the intersection of infrastructure planning, environmental regulation, and iwi partnership.

The assessment will support Council’s decision-making on future wastewater treatment and disposal options by evaluating the technical feasibility of irrigating treated wastewater to land in the vicinity of Murupara.
