Gap Ridge North Technical Feasibility Study

The City of Karratha is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and competent consultants for the provision of a technical feasibility study to investigate industrial development opportunities in Gap Ridge North.

Scope:

The Consultant will be responsible for delivering the Study in accordance with the objectives outlined in this specification. 

The key objectives of the Study are:

• Establish a strategic planning framework and technical foundation for coordinated precinct planning;

• Inform future statutory planning processes (e.g. structure plan, zoning, subdivision and development applications);

• Support land tenure negotiations and requested changes, as well as preparation and consideration of the related structure plan and Scheme Amendment, which will be progressed separately;

• Identify district-level environmental considerations and infrastructure requirements.

The contract will be delivered in defined stages, with progress evaluated against key milestones at the end of each stage and prior to advancing to subsequent stages. The stages represent the full scope of services and deliverables required from the Consultant.

• Stage 1: Project Inception, Contextual and Preliminary Planning Framework.

• Stage 2: Stakeholder Engagement.

• Stage 3: Draft Technical Feasibility Study.

• Stage 4: Plan Preparation and Implementation Planning.

• Stage 5: Final Gap Ridge North Technical Feasibility Study.
