Provision of Developer Services for the Firearms Act Reform Program

The Western Australia Police Force is seeking to appoint a single Contractor for the provision of Developer Services to support the Firearms Act Reform (FAR) Program so that it can deliver the technological upgrades and enhancements required to comply with the Firearms Act 2024 and integrate with the Firearms Licensing and Registry system.

The FAR Program requires Developer Services to support the design, automation and delivery of the integrated solution. Based on historical usage, it is estimated a total of 13 Developer personnel are required. This includes a Lead Developer with leadership and management experience to coordinate the delivery of the required services from the rest of the Developer team.

The estimated Developer team comprises of:

• one Lead Developer
• one Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Developer
• one Oracle Developer
• ten .Net Developers

The Developer Team will work in collaboration with other WA Police Force resources to assist in delivering the FAR Program.
