Fairfield Place Refurbishment

Wellways Australia Ltd is preparing to refurbish their main office in at 276 Heidelberg Road, Fairfield VIC 3078 (Project). The Project aims to create a Support Services Hub.

The design concept draws inspiration from the river ecosystem, with the Yarra River and Merri Creek serving as a life source supporting communities and natural ecosystems, providing nourishment, resource, travel paths, and a place for healing and gathering.

The Project seeks to create a space that is:

• welcoming and context-driven, serving as a symbol of Wellways;
• non-hierarchical and a home for local, regional, and national community;
• flexible, dynamic, and embracing future technology; and a celebration of Wellways identity.

The refurbished facility will provide diverse spaces including arrival/reception areas, flexible seminar and

training spaces, communal kitchen, social enterprise cafe, media room, end of trip facilities, faith and wellness rooms, meeting rooms, workstations, and IT utilities, supporting hybrid and online methods of working and exploring social enterprise to connect the local community.
