Destination NSW is seeking submissions and itemised quotations from suitably qualified service providers for the provision of an ‘Event Activation Agency for Sydney Rugby Village 2027’.
Project goals
The Sydney Rugby Village will serve as a central fan zone and interaction hub for the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027, amplifying activations across the city and creating a vibrant fan experience in the heart of Sydney at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour. Designed to attract both new and existing fans, the site will deliver exciting, innovative, and unique Sydney experiences that enhance the overall tournament atmosphere.
Scope
The agency will be responsible for delivering event activations, programming entertainment and fan engagement offerings, managing site operations, and ensuring the Rugby Village meets the standards outlined in the Host City Agreement between World Rugby and Destination NSW.
