Bridge Deck Renewal Works

ABOUT THE RFT:

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking tenders from competent contractors to provide materials and services to undertake Bridge Deck Renewal Works

General Description of Works

As part of the Annual Works Plan, full concrete deck renewals are required (fabrication and installation) to three bridges across Victoria in the ARTC Rail network. To deliver the works, ARTC are seeking Principal Contractor(s) to manage the full life cycle of this project.

The locations of the three bridges are as follows:

• Western Victoria – 260.433kp, Glenorchy

• Western Victoria – 260.833kp, Glenorchy

• North East Victoria – 199.180kp, Benalla

Tender will be awarded as two separate work packages:

• Package A – 2 x Western Victoria bridges

• Package B – 1 x North East bridge

Tenderers are welcome to bid for each Package or all 3 bridges, taking into consideration the impact on fabrication and project delivery timeline. Pricing is required separately for each bridge and as a Package to reflect cost savings of multiple bridges being awarded to a tenderer.

To assist with the tender responses, ARTC will organise site visits to each of the three bridges with details to be confirmed post tender RFQ release. Attendance is highly recommended to clarify scope requirements, access conditions and insights from ARTC environmental advisor on site layout restrictions.
